About Wimy

Wimy is an online fitness platform aimed at giving instructors a new way to earn money (by teaching online). It's built on a UCPS (User-Centric Payment System) which allows a fair way to send money to instructors based on users' watch time; this provides everybody with equal access to earn money. Instructors can upload videos or schedule live events on Wimy.

Project Overview

Wimy was my second project as a designer at Resonary. I worked closely with the project manager to design the core functionality of the platform. During this time, I built the design system / brand guidelines from the ground up. This allowed me to pave the way for future marketing / design work. Finally, I handed off the project to another designer who finished out the more detailed designs and new features while I moved onto other projects.

The Process

Landing Page

I created a landing page aimed at attracting instructors and students to the platform. It was key to explain the platform in a clear and concise manner, yet it had to be in line with the playful tone of the brand.

Branding/UI Overhaul

I designed the infrastructure of the design system and the main pages, so I could hand off the project to another designer and work on new projects. I created a home, a section for saved content, a profile page, an upload flow, and more. I designed the Brand ID alongside the design of the platform because user research helped us adapt to more accurate target user information. I also helped design ads and marketing collateral to help them launch their growth campaign.

What's Next?

The project is launching very soon (It might have already launched by the time you're reading this). The project was handed off to another designer to finish up, but my work is still very much alive in the current design system they utilized!
